The Aimless Beauty series consists of painterly sketches unfolds as a meditation on colour in motion, where swirling, saturated wet brushstrokes have both the immediacy of
gesture and the memory of landscape. The palette gestures toward the natural world: the layered greens of grass and foliage shifting toward yellow in sunlight, the parched earth tones of late summer, the silvery blue haze of distant horizons, the sky’s infinite range from cobalt brilliance to the soft turbulence of grey-white clouds. Flashes of orange, pink, and vivid red are traces of sunsets, while blue greens recall the flicker of lakeside water, dappled by light and reflection.

We’re also happy to offer guidance on placement, integrating new pieces with your existing collection, or exploring framing options—helping ensure your artwork is beautifully displayed and perfectly suited to your space.
How does shipping work?
We provide complimentary delivery within the Ottawa–Gatineau region. For deliveries outside this area, please email us at carrie@coltonartanddesign.ca with the artwork(s) you are interested in and the final shipping destination. We’ll provide you with shipping options and details tailored to your location.
What is your return policy?
Because each artwork is one-of-a-kind, CCAD does not accept returns or exchanges. We invite clients to contact us with any questions or to request additional images or details before purchasing, ensuring that each piece is the perfect addition to your collection.
